The National Day of Service event in Auburn, sponsored by the Sierra Club Placer Group, brought out an estimated 100 eager, up-beat and hard-working volunteers from the region to pick up trash. Over 85 bags, along with furniture, and separate bags of recycables were filled as individuals and teams cleaned up selected roads in Auburn. A big thank you to our President for inspiration, to our volunteers for a great job, and to the Sierra Club for organizing the event.
