Sierra Gold Chorus Presents "The Joy of Music"
So. Placer Women in Sierra Gold Chorus

The chorus proudly presents "The Joy of Music" at its Annual Christmas Shows in Grass Valley and Auburn. The Grass Valley Show on Saturday, December 5, is at 2:00 pm at Unity in the Gold Country Church, 180 Cambridge Court. The Auburn show on Saturday, December 12, is also at 2:00 pm at Parkside Nazarene Church, 3885 Richardson Drive.

The show, a Julia Child parody, has all the ingredients of music and fun to satisfy your entertainment appetite. Sierra Gold Chorus, under the direction of Barb Tincher is the main course. Sierra Belles, Infusion, the Christmas Chorus, and several other quartets will add some extra spice. For dessert, the Grass Valley show will feature the "TBDL" quartet, and the Neutraltones quartet will be featured at the Auburn show.

The TBDL quartet are all members of the Folsom Harmony Express. Since they formed in April of 2009, they placed second in their category at the Far Western District, Barbershop Harmony Society Contest, they won Second Place at the Nevada County Fair in August and First Place at the Gold Country County Fair in September. The Neutraltones quartet, from the Hayward and Los Gatos area, were conceived in 2007, and the act took on a life of its own that keeps fans shocked and awed. They are an extremely popular, talented and fun quartet. They will keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. Bon Appetit!
