Placer County’s Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Miller, will deliver a State of the County address at this month’s Good Morning Rocklin breakfast meeting on Thursday, March 11.

Miller got his start in county government in Trinity County where he was originally recruited as the Director of Planning, but ultimately assumed

responsibility for virtually all county public works and planning services. In 1999, Miller joined Placer County as Facility Services Director, launching an aggressive capital building program in addition to managing a host of

programs. In 2005, Miller was instrumental in launching the Placer County Community Development Resource Agency to coordinate and streamline development services into a single agency. At the breakfast meeting, Miller will be providing a preview of the 2010-2011 County budget, as well as highlighting the status of some of the county’s major projects.
