Free Electronics E-waste Drive Sat. April 21st, 9am to 1pm
Loomis Basin Education Foundation, L.B.E.F. is teaming up with CEAR, Inc., a business that recycles e-waste. In California it is illegal to dispose of e-waste in the household trash.
Do you have old computers, monitors, TVs and speakers taking up valuable closet, garage or office space? Put us on your spring cleaning list. You will feel better about getting rid of those old items lying around and disposing of them correctly.
Accepting electronic devices, including the following items: Monitors/TVs Desktop PCs/notebook PCs, VCRs, stereos, speakers, keyboards, mice, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones, cell phones, video game consoles, etc. Printers/copiers, Laser and multi-function peripheral, scanners & fax machines, Small kitchen appliances like blenders, mixers, toasters
Not Accepting: Household Appliances (Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators) & Furniture, Hazardous Household waste including fluorescent light bulbs, car batteries and paint
Where: The parking lot of Loomis Grammar School, 3505 Taylor Road. Take hwy 80 to Horseshoe Bar Road, turn right on Taylor Road. The School is on the left at the corner of King and Taylor Road in down town Loomis.
When: Sat. April 21st from 9am to 1pm Easy drive through drop off!

Proceeds raised will benefit L.B.E.F. and the seven elementary schools in the Loomis Union School District!
We are helping our community dispose of e-waste properly and environmentally. Please give us your old e-waste. It's good for the community, the earth and our elementary schools benefit too! Last year nearly 45,000 pounds of e-waste was collected and raised $3,800 in this one-day event.
